Very pleased and honoured to have been the inspiration for this wonderful collection of paintings by Lyn Gawne entitled DIVERSITY. The show runs from 15th to 19th March at the Brisbane Arts Collective (Brisbane city, Queensland) and the collection featured a number of my Ethiopian tribal people images, all painted faithfully and beautifully by Lyn. Accompanying each piece was a short narrative describing each tribal member and the diversity of their lifestyles. Lyn is pictured behind her paintings on the opening night of the exhibition.
